About The Role
Step into the Cardiac Physiologist – Cardiac Sonographer role and elevate your career at the forefront of advanced cardiac diagnostics within a leading multidisciplinary health network. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering high‐quality cardiac ultrasound diagnostics, supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations across John Hunter Hospital, Belmont Hospital, The Maitland Hospital, and other HNELHD facilities. Working within a structured roster, the successful candidate will also participate in a weekend on‐call service, ensuring continuity of care beyond standard operating hours.

* Remuneration: $53.29 – $58.96 Per Hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
* Employment types: Temporary Full Time and Part Time opportunities until July 2026, up to 38 hours per week.

Requirements
* Undergraduate degree in Science or a related field including human anatomy and physiology
* Recognised education, specialised training, and demonstrable experience in cardiac diagnostic testing, with current accreditation and registration with ASAR to practise cardiac ultrasound at a professional standard
* Must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current NZ passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa
