Job Title: Facility Operations Manager
About the Role:
Serco Adelaide, South Australia offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead correctional officer teams in delivering high standards of security and operational outcomes. As a Facility Operations Manager, you will oversee teams across emergency response, control room, visits, and more.
Responsibilities:
Leading and managing all security and operations staff to maintain high standards across dynamic, static, and procedural security areas.
Ensuring all centre security procedures are adhered to through audits and inspections.
Coordinating emergency responses and maintaining readiness in line with contract requirements.
Overseeing the management of control rooms, visits, screening, reception, and medical-related security operations.
Supporting team development, conducting annual reviews, and managing performance issues appropriately.
Requirements:
A Certificate III Correctional Practice is required, along with experience in a senior line management role in prisons, detention centres or similar institutional environments. Sound knowledge of modern correctional practices, Work Health & Safety, and the criminal justice system is also essential.
