The Opportunity Reporting into the site Superintendent, this supervisor role will support the safe, timely and efficient delivery of works on the Chevron Wheatstone Facility. You’ll take ownership of weekly reporting, stakeholder coordination, permits, mobilisation planning, and materials/equipment management, ensuring work is well-planned, well-communicated, and executed safely in line with site standards. ABOUT YOU You’re organised, calm under pressure and enjoy being the “go-to” person who keeps things moving. You’re confident working with the client, Health and safety, different crews and multiple stakeholders in a site-based environment. You’ll ideally have: Experience as a project coordinator / supervisor / planner / permits. Background in resources, oil & gas, construction, facility’s maintenance or utilities environments Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable using systems and spreadsheets for tracking progress, resources and materials Confident communicator – able to talk with supervisors, trades, client reps and engineers A strong safety mindset and commitment to doing things the right way Familiarity with permit-to-work processes and/or MSW2.0 (desirable) What You’ll Lead & Deliver In this role, you’ll be a key connector between the field and the office, helping the team deliver safely, on time and to plan. You will: Own detailed weekly reporting Prepare clear weekly reports for key stakeholders Track progress over time, including milestones and variances Highlight risks, issues and recommended mitigation actions Include resource utilisation and productivity metrics Coordinate weekly stakeholder meetings Schedule, facilitate and run weekly coordination meetings Prepare and distribute agendas in advance Capture and circulate accurate meeting notes and action items Follow up actions with the right people to keep work on track Support permit development & compliance Prepare and manage permits required for execution in line with MSW2.0 Ensure works comply with site safety and environmental standards Support a strong, positive safety culture on site Lead mobilisation planning Develop and maintain a detailed mobilisation plan Create and manage rosters for personnel and equipment Include contingency planning for delays or resource shortages Manage materials & equipment Identify delta materials, equipment and tooling requirements Track procurement and delivery timelines Support close-out & improvement Compile Lessons Learned reports Capture successes, challenges and opportunities for improvement Help strengthen performance for future project phases Contribute to daily site safety Participate in / support daily prestarts Assist with workplace inspections and reporting of hazards ABOUT THE TEAM Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
