The NSW Department of Education is responsible for delivering high-quality public education to two-thirds of the NSW student population.
About the Role
* Provide asset services to a group of schools within the Asset Management region.
* Manage and deliver Minor Capital Works projects, ensuring delivery within strict time and cost constraints.
* Deliver multiple projects across programs involving upgrades and additions, Integration, Insurance, Capital, and Planned Maintenance.
This includes new buildings, major upgrades, and long-term maintenance strategies. Excellent understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Budgeting, scheduling, negotiating, and controlling costs effectively
* Managing contractors to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and government standards
* Persistent and determined approach to manage multiple projects simultaneously
