Executive Manager Procurement
Strategic Leadership and Operational Oversight for a New Procurement Team.
This is a hybrid role, working from home and 1-2 days from the Box Hill office.

About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiency.
* Monitor systems and processes at the site level for purchasing functions.
* Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational goals and procurement policies.
* Oversee all accounts payable activities, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment reports.
* Manage onboarding, ongoing maintenance, and offboarding of suppliers.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team of approximately 4 staff members.
* Ensure all procurement and accounts payable activities comply with policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
* Act as the functional owner of the Medius procurement system, driving process improvements and efficiency, utilizing data for decision-making and reporting.
The ideal candidate is an experienced procurement leader with excellent communication, engagement, and stakeholder management skills. They should have a proven track record in developing procurement strategies, leading sourcing and market engagement, and driving system and process improvements.
Requirements
* Expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.
* Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, risk management, and compliance.
* Proficiency in procurement software and data analytics tools for trend analysis and opportunity identification.
* Ability to achieve cost savings and process efficiencies.
* Experience in sourcing opportunity evaluation.
* Experience managing corporate credit and purchase cards within controlled and compliant frameworks.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
