About the role

Role Overview:
The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and experienced in industrial electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions
- Assist with installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Skills & Experience:
- Trade-qualified Electrician with experience in industrial/commercial maintenance
- Solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Commitment to workplace health and safety

Skills And Experiences
- Trade-qualified Electrician with relevant experience in industrial or commercial maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, drives, and control systems
- Experience with PLCs, automated machinery, and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Understanding of workplace health, safety, and electrical compliance standards
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
- Experience with installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
