The Opportunity
The Fitter is required to complete all facets of fitting works on time, in full and to standard, while striving for continuous improvement. The Fitter is responsible for keeping themselves and their colleagues safe as well as maintaining a clean, tidy, and productive work environment.
What’s involved
o Conducting fitting (or general) tasks as directed IAW supplied Work Pack / Job Tickets.
o Inspection, testing and servicing of on-board mechanical systems.
o Inspection, analysis and recording of critical measurements, data, or information during the process of undertaking mechanical refurbishment works.
o Completing works within the required time frames and, if unachievable, informing supervisor immediately.
You’ll need
o Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
o Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
o White Card
o HR Licenses – Forklift / Confined Space
o First Aid / EWP
o Previous experience in Marine / Ship repair or Heavy Industry.
