Job Description
The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled Nurse Unit Manager to lead a nursing/midwifery team and oversee the implementation of quality and risk management frameworks.
This role involves overseeing the implementation of quality and risk management frameworks, leading and coordinating a nursing/midwifery team and/or healthcare team, and working collaboratively with peers and others to create a positive practice environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing human, financial, and material resources effectively.
* Leading innovation within the work unit by implementing and integrating new ideas.
