Job Opportunity
This is a temporary full-time position that focuses on ensuring environmental and administrative compliance across waste management facilities and services.
* Report to the Waste Services Coordinator
* Lead projects delivering exceptional waste outcomes for the community through effective minimization, recycling, and resource recovery initiatives
* Contribute to procurement and contract management of waste services
* Provide input into development assessments
* Support disaster response planning
* Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and industry standards
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with significant experience in waste management and resource recovery
* Sound knowledge of waste management issues including licenced facility compliance
* Ability to solve complex problems and apply critical thinking
* Experience working in diverse and multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to prepare written advice and reports
