As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will be working in an exciting and rewarding career. You will join our team to learn, grow, and succeed in one of Australia's most in-demand trades.
This role involves assisting with the installation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances. You will also learn how to diagnose and fix plumbing issues like leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
You will develop the skill to read and understand plumbing blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Your tasks will include helping with pipe fitting, participating in excavation and trenching work when needed, and collaborating with other tradespeople.
You will take care of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment. This includes organising and keeping track of inventory, making sure tools are in good condition, and safely storing and moving materials around.
You will follow safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines to keep yourself and others safe on the job. This includes wearing the right protective gear, following rules, and maintaining a safe work environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in plumbing. You should have a current Drivers License and own reliable transport. Completed work experience is highly desirable.
