What's the role?As a Tool Repair Technician, this hands-on role involves repairing Hilti power tools, analyzing and conducting final functional and safety tests after repairs to ensure quality and customer safety. You will work in a bench-based workshop with all necessary tools and resources, working within a team to repair a range of Hilti products efficiently to meet same-day targets.If you have experience in maintaining and repairing electric tools, a similar skill set, or an interest in mechanical devices and fault finding, this role is suitable for you.What does the role involve?Carrying out service, repair, and calibration of all Hilti tools and equipment, from cordless power tools to diamond wall saws and concrete X-ray scanning equipment.Following globally defined repair standards using the latest equipment for analysis, testing, and calibration.Performing repair work with a focus on quality, cost, and time efficiency.Participating in Hilti Aftermarket Services Quality improvement processes.Contributing to Continuous Improvement Processes.Taking responsibility for workbenches and hand tools.Engaging in ongoing training to learn new products and processes.Adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures at all times.What you need is:Experience in maintaining and repairing electric tools or similar skills.Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks to meet operational deadlines.An electrical or mechanical background is advantageous.Relevant electrical or mechanical licenses are advantageous.Comfort with using computers, including Microsoft Windows, Internet, Excel, and SAP; training can be provided.Even if you don’t meet all criteria, please apply or contact us for a confidential conversation.Why should you apply?Hilti Australia employs 39 different nationalities and values diverse contributions.
