Job Title: Experienced Senior Structural Engineer.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Mackay. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer to work on challenging projects, develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our business.
About the Role
This role will involve working as part of our busy structural engineering team, undertaking complex design calculations and analysing mining/marine/transport infrastructure structures using software such as SpaceGas and Strand7. You will be responsible for ensuring that all designs meet safety and quality standards, and will work closely with clients to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake structural design including computer-based analysis of mining/marine/transport infrastructure structures with concrete and steelwork;
* Work on critical projects with a key focus on safety and quality;
* Acting as client contact as appointed for specific projects;
* Conduct condition assessments, audits and surveys;
* Liaising with staff members in other offices;
What We're Looking For
* A Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
* 8 years' industry experience;
* Advanced knowledge and experience in using structural analysis software packages such as SpaceGas and Strand7;
* Sound knowledge and experience in structural design, analysis, client/stakeholder management and project delivery;
* Understanding and/or experience on major construction projects;
* Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
* Be currently residing in Australia and have unrestricted working rights;
* Be fluent in written and spoken English to a professional level;
