Job Description
The Royal Children's Hospital provides a wide range of paediatrics and adolescent health services. We care for children and young people from Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and other states around Australia and overseas.

* Perform and report diagnostic laboratory tests following techniques and procedures documented in laboratory manuals and quality standards.
* Contribute to consistently meeting benchmark turn-around times established for the laboratory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or Bachelor of Science or equivalent is mandatory.
* Experience in a multidisciplinary diagnostic pathology laboratory, with experience in at least two of the three disciplines of Blood Banking, Haematology and Biochemistry.
* Major in Haematology /Blood Bank is highly desirable.
