The Cotton Club is a well appointed restaurant, bar and function room on the ground level of the world famous Woolshed. The Cotton Club is well known for our high quality gastro pub style meals open five dinners and one lunch a week. Family owned and operated for over 30 years, we are renowned for our staff retention.
This position offers a great work life balance and suits a Head Chef or up and coming Sous Chef with a passion for creating great meals within a balanced and profitable menu. We have strong financial reporting and budgeting and the successful candidate is expected to achieve and better these goals.
This is a small team consisting of Head Chef, Sous Chef, Apprentice and Kitchen Hand(s) as required, so it is essential all members are reliable, resilient and have a strong hands on work ethic. This is a critical leadership position within our business requiring a team player with great interpersonal skills.
This is an chance for the successful candidate to establish themselves as a quality Head Chef.
· Have a minimum of Cert III in Cookery & Food Safety Supervision Certificate
· Able to work unsupervised and calmly in a fast-paced environment
· Have full work rights
· Min 2 years’ experience in similar role
Must be able to work Wednesday- Sunday Roster
