About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Kingston area.

* To deliver excellent nursing care in accordance with established policies and physician's orders.
* Utilize sound nursing practices to ensure the delivery of quality care in the assigned home areas.
* Ensure timely and safe admissions, transfers, and discharges for residents.
* Manage medications and narcotics safely and securely.
Requirements
* Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
* Able to work with patients who have infectious diseases.
* BLS Certificate.
* Valid First Aid & CPR.
* Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
* Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work varied shift times and 'float' between units.
* Reliability to be placed at an agreed-upon facility/unit.
* Compliance with our shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
This role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
