A new opportunity is available for an experienced Bridge Modeller to join a leading engineering consultancy in Perth, working on a strong pipeline of major transport infrastructure projects across Western Australia.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality bridge and structural models within a BIM environment, supporting the design and documentation of complex infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will help translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated and constructible 3D models.
This role offers the opportunity to work on significant transport infrastructure projects while contributing to a highly skilled and collaborative digital engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed bridge and structural models using Revit, Civil 3D, or similar BIM platforms
* Produce accurate 3D models and supporting documentation for transport infrastructure projects
* Coordinate bridge models with civil, structural, and other discipline models
* Support design development from concept through to detailed design stages
* Assist with clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools
* Ensure all modelling outputs meet project, client, and industry standards
* Work closely with engineers to ensure design intent is accurately represented in models
* Contribute to BIM workflows, standards, and digital engineering improvements
About You
* Proven experience as a Bridge Modeller within a consulting or engineering environment
* Strong experience in BIM modelling tools (Revit preferred; Civil 3D or similar also advantageous)
* Experience working on transport infrastructure or bridge projects
* Strong understanding of structural/bridge design principles
* Experience with Navisworks or other coordination tools
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality modelling outputs
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design intent
