Your new role
An opportunity is available for a friendly and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a welcoming community-focused organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, providing high-quality reception and administrative support and assisting with volunteer coordination and events.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a varied environment and takes pride in creating a positive first impression.
Your key responsibilities:
* Welcome visitors and manage front‑of‑house reception
* Answer and direct phone calls, emails and general enquiries
* Maintain meeting room bookings, shared calendars and office spaces
* Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing and record management
* Coordinate office supplies and petty cash
* Support volunteer onboarding, rostering and communications
* Assist with events, fundraising activities and on-site functions
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will need the following:
* Experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
* Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional manner
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* A flexible, team‑focused and proactive approach
* Barista skills or willingness to learn (desirable)
