This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Engineer, based in Altona North, VIC. The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for developing solutions for environmental challenges, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting environmental impact assessments, and implementing sustainable practices. The role involves overseeing wastewater treatment processes, advising on waste management strategies, and providing environmental consulting services to clients. Additional responsibilities may include preparing technical reports and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on environmental projects.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Impact Assessment
* Expertise in Wastewater Treatment processes and systems
* Proficiency in Environmental Consulting and providing advisory support
* Skills in Waste Management, including waste reduction and sustainability practices
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Professional certification or membership in an environmental organization is advantageous
* Experience with regulatory reporting and liaison with government agencies is a plus
