The role of a Senior Teacher Preschool is to play a key part in the leadership, development and delivery of educational policies and programs.
This position leads the application of the Early Years Learning Framework and the NT Preschool Curriculum, including transition pathways from Preschool to Transition. It is an on-class teaching position that requires a high level of expertise and professionalism.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Development: Contribute to the school's leadership team, providing guidance and support to colleagues to enhance student learning outcomes.
* Curriculum Implementation: Lead the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework and the NT Preschool Curriculum, ensuring alignment with departmental and school-based policies.
* Transition Pathways: Develop and implement effective transition pathways for students moving from Preschool to Transition, promoting seamless continuity of learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Highly Qualified Educator: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and possess significant experience as a teacher, preferably in the early years sector.
