We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Contracts Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.
The ideal candidate will possess a sharp attention to detail and a solid grasp of contract management principles.
You will provide comprehensive support and guidance in relation to a significant defence program, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts.
This role will involve contract management of the Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) contract for provision of services to the RAAF's fleet of F/A-18F Super Hornets and EA-18G Growlers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on commercial contracting and procurement strategies.
* Draft, negotiate and manage complex contracts.
* Develop and implement effective contract management plans.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives.
* Maintain accurate records and reports on contract performance.
Requirements:
* Experience with commercial contracting and/or complex procurement subcontracting is required.
* Knowledge of fundamental contracting principles and the application of appropriate techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Business/Commerce) from a recognised institution highly desirable.
