Overview:
Our organization is seeking an experienced Logistics and Procurement professional to join our team on a six-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work with a great team focused in the renewables space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review material requirements and raise purchase orders as needed.
* Monitor and report changes to purchase orders that may impact the business.
* Coordinate supply chain, monitor storage and inventory systems, control stock levels, and track all movements of supplies and finished goods to ensure delivery expectations are met.
* Focus on pricing to enable the company to identify key opportunities for cost savings.
* Identify areas for process improvement.
* Negotiate contract specifics including pricing in conjunction with the Supply and Sourcing Manager.
* Manage third-party suppliers and identify areas for continuous improvement.
* Work with wider teams to achieve strategic procurement goals.
This role requires an immediate start and is office-based.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
They will also have a strong understanding of logistics and procurement principles, with experience in a similar role.
