The Opportunity
The demand for our product is growing at a rapid pace and we require a Procurement Officer. As Procurement Officer at Bioaction you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products and services, in line with product specifications and customer requirements relating to our Odour Control Units and Chemical Dosing Units. You will report to our Estimation & Procurement Manager and ensure that the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective and aligns with our standards and customer requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Procurement of all items related to Odour Control Units and Chemical Dosing Units.
· Procurement/management of stock items including undertaking the monthly stocktake.
· QA of all receiving goods including stock orders and bespoke items.
· Aligning inventory with data management software & systems.
· Management of all suppliers by completing supplier evaluations and onboarding new suppliers.
· Pick up and delivery of items from suppliers.
· Preparation of goods to be dispatched to site.
· General administrative tasks.
About You
· Prior experience in procurement, warehousing preferred but not essential.
· Attitude over qualifications or experience as full training will be provided.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Must be able to handle responsibility and pressure of meeting deadlines.
· Class C Driver’s Licence.
· Forklift License – Preferred but not essential.
