Michael Page is pleased to partner exclusively with a purpose driven organisation and are seeking a Payroll Project Specialist. You'll play a key role in supporting payroll remediation activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and improvements in processes and systems. This role is offered on a remote basis, providing flexibility while contributing to meaningful transformation work.
Job Description
* Assisting with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements.
* Supporting remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing.
* Preparing reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers.
* Contributing to payroll compliance initiatives and supporting Fair Work / Industrial Relations requirements.
* Assisting with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
* Working within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives.
* Collaborating across HR and Payroll projects to ensure end-to-end service delivery.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation.
* Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
