The Adolescent Court Liaison Service – Senior Mental Health Clinician is part of the Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, working together to provide comprehensive mental health services to young people within the justice system.

This role involves collaborating with the Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Team and external stakeholders to deliver specialized mental health court diversion and consultation liaison services to Children's Courts and CAMHS in NSW.

Main Responsibilities

* Mental health assessments and interventions for young people within the justice system.
">
">
Developing and implementing effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.
">
Requirements
">
">
* Clinical Nurse Consultant: Unrestricted Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
">
* Social Worker: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in social work, with AASW membership or eligibility.
">
* Occupational Therapist: Registration with Ahpra following a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in occupational therapy.
">
* Psychologist: Accredited undergraduate study in psychology, registration with Ahpra, and approval or eligibility as a Psychology Board Supervisor.
">
* Clinical Psychologist: Six-year accredited master's or higher in clinical/forensic psychology, registration, and endorsement.
">
* At least 5 years of Mental Health experience, including Child and Adolescent or Early Psychosis experience.
