About the Role
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in enabling mission-critical capabilities.
You'll work in integrated teams, supporting the full lifecycle of projects that shape Australia's cyber and intelligence future.
More than being simply a support position, this role will provide you a gateway into high-impact project delivery work within Australia's National Intelligence Community.
Key Duties:
Understanding the vision of a project's outcomes and associated benefits.
Supporting senior staff in the translation of requirements into project plans.
Understanding the importance of project costs, schedule and expected benefits.
Assisting with financial and procurement processes to support project goals.
Providing administrative and logistical support, including documentation management and meeting coordination.
Ongoing self-development of written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate information coherently and concisely to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Developing an analytical approach to work.
Remaining responsive and flexible, adapting as priorities change.
Demonstrating interpersonal skills to foster and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with ASD values.
Providing support to and following direction from senior staff under supervision.
Accepting opportunities for mentoring/coaching.
Adelaide positions will have a focus on security, and being ready to enable certification activities for the project.
Key duties may include:
Performing security inspections of hold and witness points in order to provide a level of security assurance.
Identifying security vulnerabilities and risks in relation to the construction project.
Implementing security risk mitigation strategies in consultation with relevant stakeholders throughout the life of the project.
Checking and investigating any installation deviations from the security specifications.
