About the Role

As we expand our services across the Perth Metro area, we are looking to include an additional two ABC Home Visitor Practitioners to support our families south of the river.

The ABC Home Visitors play a pivotal role within our clinical team, delivering the Attachment, Biobehavioural Catch-up Program, a 12-week evidence-based intervention, where the practitioner visits families to provide strengths-based feedback on the quality of interactions with the infant, that build caregivers' skills, capacity and confidence to parent in a responsive way.

Duties of the role involve maintaining a caseload of families working to ensure that they complete the entire 12-week program, preparing reports and documentation of home-visits including assessments and screenings and participation in video conference supervision on a regular basis.

Successful candidates will engage in the ABC training and become an accredited ABC home visitor in newborn, infant or early childhood areas. They will also be provided the opportunity to engage in ongoing professional development, including the potential to become certified as an Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up clinical supervisor and an in-the-moment supervisor, contributing to the continued excellence and innovation of our perinatal and infant mental health programs.
