School Crossing Supervisor - Part time – Santa Maria Del Monte Primary School

Responsibilities
* Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists.
* Develop positive community relationships and act as a familiar, trusted presence around the school.
* Support Santa Maria Del Monte Primary School with school zone operations during assigned hours: 8:00–9:00 AM and 2:45–3:45 PM, Monday to Friday.
* Provide 20 hours of supervision per fortnight across school term periods.
* Receive an hourly rate with superannuation; compensation extends through school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.

* You are community minded and eager to contribute.
* You enjoy building community relationships and keeping children safe while earning a weekly wage doing something you love.
* You are reliable and prepared to show up for your community in all weather conditions.
* You communicate effectively and stay alert to potential dangers.
* You are willing to obtain required checks and health assessments to work with children (Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, Health Assessment).
* If you already have a Working with Children Check, that may speed up the process.

* The talent team will review applications and contact shortlisted candidates in the week commencing 16th February 2026 for a quick 5–10 minute phone interview, followed by panel interviews.
* If successful, you will progress to pre-employment checks.
* Applications close 11:59pm on Sunday 15th February 2026.
* Applicants who pass the interview may be considered for a casual position if a vacancy arises.
* A Talent Pool may be created for current and future casual and permanent part-time positions over the next 18 months. If you are suitable at interview and a vacancy arises, you may be contacted to complete pre-employment checks.
