With a team of around 45 engineers and design professionals including a growing survey team of 7, Maker Consulting Services is currently working on a diverse range of survey, civil infrastructure and land development projects across the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and Southwest Sydney regions for clients across all sectors and industries.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and competent Registered Surveyor to deliver cadastral solutions to our diverse client base.
Working under the direct supervision of the Survey Manager, you will assist in the delivery of cadastral, civil and residential survey projects from inception to completion.
Your responsibilities would include:
 * Boundary/Cadastral surveys in greenfield estates and older established urban areas
 * Liaising with clients and/or their contractor in respect of their needs by phone, email or face-to-face
 * Office calculations and data reduction
 * Learning and utilising new concepts for career development
 * Work with and provide instructions to technical staff
 * Capture, edit and provide survey data to high standards
Skills & Experience
 * A completed Degree in Surveying from an Australian University
 * Be a Registered Land Surveyor with BOSSI NSW
 * Minimum of 2-3 years local experience in surveying
 * Previous experience in cadastral/boundary surveys
 * A willingness to adopt technologies and contribute to improving efficiency of processes
 * Competent knowledge of AutoCAD/BricsCAD & Magnet Office
 * Experience in the interpretation of engineering and construction plans and documents
 * An understanding of the construction process and the ability to interpret architectural drawings
 * Competent knowledge of modern surveying equipment and techniques
 * Ability to manage workload and liaise with the survey manager and senior surveyors
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * A good level of self-organisational skills
 * Current driver's license
 * Valid White Card
 * Be able to adhere to the company's integrated Management System procedures and company policies
