About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team. This is a key role offering technical leadership, project ownership and client engagement across a range of projects. You’ll lead structural design from concept through to construction, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients, builders and consultants to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead structural analysis and design for building projects.
* Deliver projects from concept design through to construction support.
* Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports and documentation.
* Coordinate with drafters and review drawings for constructability.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
* Liaise with clients, architects, builders and consultants.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and best practice.
About You
* Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
* 8+ years’ experience in structural engineering consultancy.
* Strong technical capability in steel, concrete and masonry.
* Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and construction practices.
* Experience with structural analysis/design software (e.g. SpaceGASS, RAPT, Inducta or similar).
* Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
* Chartered or working toward RPEQ / Chartered status (preferred).
