Your responsibilities will include: Provide Veterinary Nursing Support: Assist in delivering high-level lameness and imaging services, ensuring efficient patient care and nursing assistance to veterinarians and researchers.Assist with Imaging Activities: Support diagnostic imaging procedures under the guidance of imaging technicians, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.Maintain Clinical Standards: Ensure timely stock management, equipment functionality, and adherence to infection control standards.Support Patient Care: Assist with clinical procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper animal husbandry within the Equine Centre.You may be a great fit if: You are a skilled veterinary nurse with equine handling experience, possessing excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You may also:
Have completed a relevant Certificate III in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent combination of experience and training.Possess proven veterinary nursing experience, particularly with equine patients.Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to balance competing demands effectively.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.Show proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence.Be able to work flexibly, including participating in out-of-hours on-call work and rotating rosters.What we offer you!
