* Casual (As per rostered hours over a 7-day roster)
* Based at Daylesford, Trentham and Clunes Outdoor Pools.
* Classified Band 4A $40.65 per hour Casual + Special Engagement
* 16–21-year-old are paid a % of the above rate as per Enterprise Agreement

How you'll make a difference

In this leadership role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all pool users. You'll support the Team Leader in supervising day-to-day operations, mentoring junior lifeguards, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and water quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, keeps an eye on detail and ensuring safety of community members as well as staff members.

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal Senior Lifeguard is an experienced, responsible, and proactive leader with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service. They possess current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications, and have a proven ability to respond confidently to emergency situations. With excellent communication and supervisory skills, they support and mentor junior lifeguards, help manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
