Kiln / Boiler Operator
· $41.45 per hour + Penalties
· Monday to Friday | Standard day shift
· Location: Grafton
About Our Client
Our client is a leader in the timber manufacturing industry, committed to producing high-quality, durable wood products. You will be joining a supportive and safety-focused production environment where teamwork and reliability are highly valued.
What You Will Be Doing
· Monitor and control kiln operations to dry timber to specified moisture levels, ensuring product stability and durability.
· Ensure optimal kiln and boiler performance, including accurate monitoring and record keeping.
· Assist with general maintenance and care of plant and equipment.
· Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
· Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and operational standards.
What You Will Need
· Experience in boiler and/or kiln operation is advantageous but not essential.
· Mechanically and technically minded with a willingness to learn.
· Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
· Forklift licence and experience desirable but not essential.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· A positive, professional, reliable, and energetic attitude.
