Madison Kitchen & Bar is our in-house restaurant within Mercure Hotel Charlestown. Our restaurant is open 7 days welcoming both hotel guests and the general public for both breakfast and dinner service.
We are seeking an experienced leader to join and manage our F&B team in the PPT role (30-35 hrs per week).
Key responsibilities for this role include
Supervising all aspects of the FOH restaurant operations with the assistance of the Executive Chef and Hotel Manager;
Maximising profitability and leading the F&B team to achieve forecast goals;
Supervising of F&B staff including rostering and training
Development and compliance with standard operating procedures including cleaning and hygiene practices;
Stock and inventory management;
Providing superior service to meet guest expectations and maximise revenue across table service, room service deliveries, functions and catering for events;
Mixing & serving menu drinks including cocktails and barista coffee;
Assisting with kitchen preparation and cleaning duties;
Applicants must have:
Previous experience in a similar role;
Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills & be flexible in your approach;
Impeccable grooming and presentation;
Excellent organisation and time management;
Self motivator who finds tasks to do or needs doing, leading their team by example;
Available to work weekdays and weekends including public holidays;
Must have unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia;
Hold a valid and current NSW drivers licence;
Hold a valid and current RSA certificate.
Experience in mixing drinks and making barista coffee
As our F&B Supervisor, you will work Tuesday to Saturday (5 days) for a total of 30-35 hours per week in this Permanent Part-Time role. The role will primarily be afternoon/evening shifts with one split shift which includes breakfast service. The successful candidatemust be available to work weekends and holiday periods as part of a regular roster.
