Food Preparation and Service Role
This role involves assisting chefs in preparing, cooking, and presenting meals for patients and staff.
The Key Responsibilities of the Position
* Preparing food as required to meet hospital standards.
* Assisting with stock rotation in the fridge and freezer.
* Maintaining proper food handling techniques, including preparation and storage.
* Supporting chefs in other food preparation tasks as needed.
* Providing onsite cooking for meal service when required.
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Certificate II in Cookery or equivalent and a minimum of two years' relevant kitchen experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an ability to understand instructions and recipes. Familiarity with food hygiene procedures is also necessary.

* Hourly rate: $39.46 to $40.25 (inclusive of 25% casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation.
