The Opportunity:Due to a series of new business wins, Melior is looking for an Account Manager to join our Sydney office and help lead on a number of exciting accounts spanning across; Luxury, automotive, watches, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle.
The position will focus on the daily management of client services working with the Sydney team to ensure the daily running of accounts as well as working closely with the head of business on idea creation, ideation and delivery.
Must have a strong existing network across media and talent.
Everyday at Melior will be different but here are a few tasks you will do more regularly than others are:Preparing of account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, proposals and other client communications and correspondenceManaging project timelines and client expectationsRunning client meetings and conference callsWorking on exciting and relevant pitch angles that align with talent objectives Managing schedules and planning for talent and key brand partners including meetings and callsMaintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information as appropriateWork on relevant and exciting pitch angles that align with client comms and objectivesNetworking with key brand partners to extract their key business needs and offer suitable solutionsCreative concepts to amplify brand partnershipsYou'll do well in this role if you have:4+ years of work experience in client services, public relations or account managementStrong local industry knowledge Previous experience in luxury, automotive, jewelry, fashionDeveloped a working-level understanding of assigned client's industries, company culture, products/servicesEfficient communication with clients The ability to continually seek ways to add value to the client-agency relationshipHigh level interest in branding, strategy and marketing Skills that are important to us:High level of organisationExcellent communication skillsDetail orientedStrong work ethicHigh competency level required for word, excel and google sheetsAny experience on Adobe Creative Suite a bonusProfessional conduct within and outside office while conducting agency businessEducation:This role is ideal for someone who has worked for 4+ years in the media, communications and public relations and has high level skills in client management.
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Business Administration is also ideal but not mandatory.
