Job Summary
The Director of Graduate Medical Education is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the strategic development and implementation of graduate medical education functions.
About the Role
This position will be administratively responsible for the oversight and management of residency and fellowship programs to achieve compliance with accreditation standards.
You will supervise the design, development, and implementation of Graduate Medical Education functions, including policy and procedure development and interpretation of RRC and ACGME requirements.
This role requires strong organizational leadership and strategic development skills, as well as the ability to provide primary liaison support between Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and residency coordinators, house staff, and program directors.
Qualifications
A Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years related experience.
Possess knowledge of graduate medical education, ECFMG, Department of State, ACGME, CODA, ADA, CPME, and Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine policies and processes.
