Job Description
Epworth Eastern has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Grade 4 Theatre Technician, reporting to the Grade 5 Theatre Technician. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position.
Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care with safety as a priority. Your responsibilities include providing high-quality service, patient preparation, equipment handling, and supporting the surgical team to ensure efficient theatre operations. You will also mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation
Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment
Collaborate with the surgical team for efficient theatre operations
Mentor novice theatre technicians
Qualifications and Skills
Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support)
Victorian Working with Children Check
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 24 months clinical experience as a Theatre Technician
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Self-motivated and professional work ethic
