Montessori International College (MIC) is a vibrant, independent school community dedicated to fostering independent, collaborative, and life‐long learners. We are launching an exciting, tailored Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program for our 3‐6 and 6‐12 year old cohorts.
About the Role
As the OSHC Coordinator, you will step in as the 'Responsible Person' in charge, leading a dedicated afternoon team to care for up to 33 students (3‐6 years) and 30 students (6‐12 years). This role offers a balanced lifestyle with a split hour structure.
* Term Time: 25 hours per week (1:00 pm – 6:00 pm), leaving mornings free and giving you dedicated programming time prior to the after‐school care launch from 3:00 pm.
* School Holidays (Vacation Care): 38 hours per week, managing our dynamic vacation care schedules operating between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver age‐appropriate, engaging educational programs and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) that mirror Montessori practices.
Manage service administration, family bookings, and inventory tracking within a predefined budget.
Lead, roster, and support your afternoon team of educators to ensure safety and continuous engagement.
Execute routine and holiday program risk assessments and formulate Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) when required.
Maintain health and allergy information and medication records.
Safely drive the school transport vehicle (standard car licence required) for Holiday Program excursions.
Nurture warm, positive relationships with parents, children, and school leadership.
About You
You hold a recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) or higher qualification.
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma & CPR certification.
Montessori training or an authentic desire to adopt and integrate Montessori methodologies is highly advantageous.
You have past coordination or senior educator experience in an early childhood service and/or OSHC environment.
You possess a sound working knowledge of NQS compliance, child safety standards, and CCS funding frameworks.
You possess a valid, open Australian Car Driver's Licence.
You possess (or have the immediate ability to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
