Aged Care Volunteer Visitor (Gilston Area)
Our Community Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. We are looking for a visitor for an elderly gentleman in the Gilston area.
The Role
If you can give up just one hour of your time each week to visit with an older gentleman in his home, we'd love to talk with you. Visits are relaxed and conversations around his hobbies and interests of car racing, Rugby League and Union, business and world affairs would be great. Please let us know if you are happy and able to travel outside of this area as well as we are especially short of male visitors for the Nerang/Gilston area. Online training must be undertaken.
Need to Know
1. Covid/Flu vaccination required.
2. Reliability with weekly/fortnight visits for a minimum of 20 weeks.
