The role
As a Cadastral Survey Drafter at Hennig & Co Surveyors Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's surveying operations. This full-time position is based in North Plympton, South Australia, and involves executing detailed cadastral surveys to support land development, infrastructure projects, and property transactions.
Key responsibilities
1. Preparing accurate and detailed cadastral survey plans and drawings in accordance with South Australian Land Services, using specialised software
2. Conducting thorough research to gather relevant land title information and historical survey data
3. Maintaining meticulous records and documentation related to survey projects
4. Providing technical support and guidance to the broader surveying team
5. Staying up-to-date with changes in surveying regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in cadastral survey drafting.
2. Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for survey plan production
3. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
