Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain crushing equipment within the quarry to ensure optimum performance and safety.
* Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of crushing machinery.
* Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with repairs as necessary.
* Monitor plant operations and report on any issues or inefficiencies.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated experience operating crushing plants in a quarry environment.
* Must be able to pass a full medical (inclusive of DAS, Spiro, Chest X-Ray).
* Current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
* Must reside in the Townsville region or be willing to relocate.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures within quarrying environments.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with mobile crushers or other heavy machinery.
* Knowledge of plant maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
