Job Title: Mental Health Clinician
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our Infant and Children Mental Health and Wellbeing Service team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychosocial assessment, treatment, and consultation to women and their families during the perinatal period, infants, and children up to 11 years of age.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments of infants and children involving the client, family, and engaged agencies.
* Engaging and working with the infant and child's family in both the assessment and treatment process as informed collaborators in the management of the child during their episode of care.
* Working alongside agencies involved in the infant and child's care, providing consultation where required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require a formal qualification in Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, or Clinical/Forensic/Neuro Psychology, along with experience in the psychiatric assessment and treatment of infants and children up to 11 years of age. Advanced clinical decision-making skills regarding the management of risk in relation to children are also essential.
