We are looking for a skilled permanent Forklift Operator to join our client's team located in the outer northern Adelaide suburbs This permanent full-time position offers stable afternoon hours from Monday to Friday, 2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm, plus irregular overtime. Our client is a market-leader in food manufacturing and seeks a candidate with experience in food distribution and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts to handle, move, and store goods in a food manufacturing environment.
Perform warehousing and distribution duties, including loading / unloading trucks and managing stock.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and food handling standards.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to food safety protocols.
Job Requirements
Current Australian forklift licence with 3+ years experience
Inventory management experience (1-2 years preferred)
Computer literacy and experience with inventory systems
Physical capability for manual handling (lifting up to 12kg)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Full-time permanent working rights
Must have current driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to work in varying temperatures including cold storage (0-5°C)
