Role Overview
This is a graduate mechanical engineer role that supports the company's decarbonisation projects.
* The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience and structured development in a leading sustainable construction materials company.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting day-to-day maintenance operations and addressing real engineering challenges;
* Investigating problems through root cause analysis and applying practical solutions;
* Monitoring equipment performance and identifying areas for improvement;
* Using data to inform decision-making and drive reliability across the plant;
* Contributing to planning and delivering maintenance activities, shutdowns, and capital projects;
* Participating in reliability and asset improvement projects to shape future operations;
* Building leadership skills with opportunities to supervise small teams;
* Working as part of a team delivering the company's Decarbonisation projects.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Completed or is near completion of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering;
* A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships;
* Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for data analysis;
* Resilience, proactivity, and willingness to step outside their comfort zone;
* Motivation to grow, learn, and take on new challenges;
* Openness to regular interstate travel and relocation for each rotation.
