The General Manager will join their team to help ensure excellence of their products.
PositionGeneral ManagerReports directly to the Managing Director and has responsibilities regarding human resources, training, approval of expenditure, and the QAQC system.DutiesManage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of Australian laboratories for Eurofins Workplace Testing Australia Pty Ltd.Oversee staffing requirements at the laboratories, including overtime, casuals and hiring of recent staff.Act as OHS representative, participating in bi-monthly meetings and serving as a management representative as a HSR.Provide supervision/coordination of Business Unit Managers.Develop and regulate annual operating budgets and project budgets.Develop strategies and policies to achieve the company's future goals.Plan and review marketing activities, results and expectations with employees on a regular basis.Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.Skills & Experience5-10 years of laboratory experience in multiple laboratory sectionsScience Degree majoring in ChemistryStrong numeracy and financial skillsAlignment with Eurofins Leadership Charter, Mission, Vision and ValuesComfort in technical environmentsAbility to build and structure business plans, submissions and initiativesDesire to continually learn and improveStrong written and oral communication skills with clear, logical thinkingApplyIf you think this could be the role for you, please apply now.
