We are seeking a Pursuit Manager to support the Sales Coach in serving their respective Industry Leader, together with their core role of Pursuit Management.
In this 9-month role, you will be the Pursuit Project Manager, rapidly engaging with, and driving collaboration between, the Sales Coach, the Sales Office Creative team, and various other pursuit stakeholders to support and drive the development of compelling value propositions, implementation of effective strategies, and the development of differentiated selling propositions throughout the pursuit process (Pre-RFP, RFP, Orals, Post-Orals).
You may be engaged on more than one pursuit at one time, so the ability to quickly assess and understand new opportunities and adapt to fast-changing situations is important.
What will your typical day look like?
Develop and own the pursuit plan, including milestones, deliverables, and assignments using collaboration tools.
Proactively collaborate with the Industry Sales Coach to operate as 'trusted sales advisors' to the Industry Leader, starting with the monthly Industry/NSO cadence calls, bringing insights and recommended actions.
Work with the Industry Sales Coach to advise and implement the Industry Leader across best sales practices.
Develop a response template aligned with client needs and manage the team, resources, and schedule to ensure timely closure of the deal within budget.
Actively participate in designated Firm Industry groups, Industry Growth initiatives, and local and global Industry networks.
Support the Industry Sales Coach and client service team in developing compelling value propositions and differentiated strategies.
Manage logistics related to orals rehearsals and debriefs.
Identify SMEs to address knowledge gaps and collaborate with writing/editorial, design, and sales colleagues.
Bring best practices from other pursuits and extended pursuit networks.
Support quality review for proposal and presentation documents, design approach, and risk reviews.
Monitor development of resource and pricing models and coordinate leadership pricing and quality calls.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, pursuit, and proposal development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
Experience in global or national consulting/advisory firms.
Familiarity with pursuit frameworks and sales enablement tools.
Strong project management skills with high attention to quality and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels.
Understanding of Advisory / Consulting services.
High level of initiative and self-motivation.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
