About the role Metro North Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our revenue receipting and recovery functions.
This role requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
You will play a key role in the Revenue Operations team, developing and delivering the revenue collections strategies for Metro North Health.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Effectively lead and manage revenue receipting and recovery operational functions and the positions responsible for these functions for the HHS.
Establish an open and collaborative working relationship with the Senior Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable, and Senior Finance Officer, Private Practice to ensure an efficient and effective revenue billing and collection cycle.
Be pro-active in identifying areas of the end-to-end revenue process which could be improved which would lead to increases in processing efficiencies, collection efficiencies or revenue generation.
Manage and monitor the receipting function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of bank transactions and payment allocations.
