Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Research Fellow to join a dynamic group of researchers working on innovative clinical trials and projects in women's mental health. This is a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative team under the leadership of Professor Jayashri Kulkarni (AM).
Location: The Alfred campus
Employment Type: Full Time
Duration: 12 month fixed-term appointment
Remuneration: $83,280 - $113,025 p.a. Level A plus 17% employer superannuation or $118,973 - $141,283 p.a. Level B plus 17% employer superannuation
Responsibilities
* Design, oversee, and implement research studies from protocol development through to analysis and publication
* Collaborate across academic and clinical teams to deliver project milestones and high-impact outcomes
* Prepare research proposals, ethics submissions and reports for funding and regulatory bodies
* Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences and seminars
* Supervise HDR students and contribute to building research capacity within the Department
What you'll need
* A doctoral qualification in psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience or a related discipline
* A strong research track record relative to opportunity, including publications and grant activity
* Advanced skills in statistical analysis and data interpretation using tools such as SPSS, R or similar
* High-level communication, time management and collaboration skills
* Experience in mentoring or supervising students and/or junior staff
