Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician/Hardware Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex equipment such as ATMs, self-checkout systems, POS terminals, and networking gear.
About the Role
* Diagnose and repair equipment in a fast-paced environment.
* Manage parts and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
* Receive ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
* Work autonomously in the field and office settings.
* Respond to customer concerns or problems by resolving them or escalating them to the proper associate, team member, territory manager, or Control Tower.
Key Qualifications
* Strong hardware skills and understanding of field service are essential.
* Previous experience with POS/self-checkouts installation/repair/maintenance is ideal.
* Hands-on hardware and repair experience are must-haves.
* Good troubleshooting experience is necessary.
* Prior experience with touch screens, printers, cash drawers, EFTPOS devices is beneficial but not essential.
* Good mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills are required.
* Able to work autonomously, professionally, and communicate effectively.
* Strong customer service skills are essential.
* Own vehicle and current driver's license are required.
* The flexibility to rotate working hours with other team members is critical.
* Full vaccination against COVID-19 is essential due to customer on-site requirements.
