About The Kapooka Health Centre
Located just 10 minutes from Wagga Wagga at Blamey Barracks - "Home of the Soldier", the Kapooka Health Centre facilities are part of the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC) and plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare to new recruits.
Spanning across two building, Kapooka offers variety with a 50 bed low dependency ward operating 24/7 and a multidisciplinary clinic delivering primary health care Monday to Friday, **** to ****, offering a broad spectrum of healthcare services, including nursing, medical, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical, and physiotherapy.
What You'll Do
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year RN experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
